| OBSERVATIONS |
The success of lime based mortars depends greatly on the tradesman been familiar with them and understanding that these mortars react very differently from modern cementitious mortars. Particular attention is needed towards, 1) the control of drying and hardening of the mortar, 2) protection from frost and heat, 3) a basic understanding of where and when these mortars are suitable. |
